Perfect for screening where height is required. ‘Prince of Darkness’ has unique shaped bracts which offer an interesting contrast to other widely available heliconias. The deep red/burgundy bracts appear in early to mid summer. A great choice where a point of difference is desired. Limited availability. Full Sun grown!

Position: Full sun to 30% shade

Grows to Height: Approx 4m - 5m

Note: It's not all about the height. When opting for a larger plant, you are selecting a plant that is overall more advanced and mature than the smaller size. The root ball is more established therefore supporting quicker growth.
