Dypsis lutescens - Golden Cane Palm

The Golden Cane is a proven all-rounder adapting to all conditions from full sun in the garden to growing indoors. When potted indoors it's long slender leaves give way to bright green colour, whilst outdoors it maintains the characteristic golden colour it's named for. On maturity outdoors, it's thick cane trunks complete this stunning feature plant for the tropical garden.

Position: Full sun to part shade and indoors

Grows to Height: 5m to 6m, restricted in pots

Note: It's not all about the height. When opting for a larger plant, you are selecting a plant that is overall more advanced and mature than the smaller size. The root ball is more established therefore supporting quicker growth.
