    Heliconia pendula 'Waxy Red'

    One of the best landscaping heliconia's available. Waxy Red grows to around 3.5m to 4m tall forming a nice tight clump. Its stems and flowers have a silvery waxy coating adding an element of interest. Flowers Summer to Autumn. Perfect for screening.

    Position: Full sun to 30% shade

    Grows to Height: Approx 3.5m to 4.5m 

    Note: It's not all about the height. When opting for a larger plant, you are selecting a plant that is overall more advanced and mature than the smaller size. The root ball is more established therefore supporting quicker growth.

    We strive hard to supply the best value plants and will generally, where possible, supply above the standard supplied heights. Occasionally due to seasonal variation and demand will need to supply standard height plants.
