Alpinia mutica - False Cardomom Ginger
A hardy clumping tropical ginger plant with dark green foliage and a spicy scent when rubbed or brushed. The lush leaves on this tropical plant tolerates full sun extremely well. This makes it a great choice for creating a tropical garden where full sun can be troublesome. A great all round plant for under story planting and filling up larger areas. Also suited to growing in pots for a pop of tropical green. Similar to the Alpinia nutan however the Alpinia mutica grows taller.
Position: Full sun to part shade
Grows to Height: 1.5m to 2m tall
