Alpinia caerulea is otherwise known as “Atherton Red”, a native ginger. It is a shade loving clumpy landscaping plant that can be used for bordering garden beds or under planting. It has striking rusty red undersides on the foliage. It will help create a tropical vibe to any garden.

Grows to Height: 2m 

Note: It's not all about the height. When opting for a larger plant, you are selecting a plant that is overall more advanced and mature than the smaller size. The root ball is more established therefore supporting quicker growth.
