A dense, dwarf conifer with compact, pyramidal growth habit. 'Smaragd’ displays a beautiful dark green foliage and needs very little maintenance and pruning. It can be used as a border plant and grows excellent in pots. Grows best in moist and well drained soil. Likes full sun.
