A deciduous, low growing Japanese Maple tree with stunning purplish-red new growth in spring. The vibrant foliage changes throughout the year and matures to a maroon-red, before the attractive 5 point maple leaves turn bright red in autumn. Perfect in Japanese gardens or for growing in containers. Grows best in moist slightly acidic and well drained soil.
