Cupressus sempervirens - 'Nitschke's Needles'
The 'Nitschke's Needles', also known as pencil pine, is a fast growing, upright conifer. The plant is well known for its straight, column-like growing habits and very popular in landscaping.
It can be used for screening, lining driveways or as a hedge and fence-line. The 'Nitschke's Needles' tolerates harsh conditions in coastal areas including salt, strong winds, even mild frost and drought but best grown in full sun.
